The 22 year old German poker player Fedor Holz sweeps the trophy at the European Poker Tour Barcelona 2016. The 2 times EPT Barcelona super high roller finalist announced his retirement and the EPT 2016 has went well for the player.
According to the Global Poker Index, Fedor Holz is currently ranked as the no.1 live tournament player. He was able to top a field of 102 etries to win the amazing EPT with €50,000 high roller. The German high roller player was awarded with €1,300,300 for the win which is $1,471,485 USD.
With a lifetime tournament earnings of $19,867,366, it is sufficient for him to be placed as the 9th global all-time earnings. This amount would also make Holz the German tournament earnings leader. This earning has also rewarded with 1020 card Payer of the year (POY) points which accumulates to a total of 6750 POY points. This has clearly made Holz, the leader of the 2016 POY race. With the POY awarded now, the player competing Holz in the POY race is 2288 points behind.
